Just finished Positioning by Al Reis and Jack Trout and its an excellent read.

Here are 6 key questions on how to position your company (or even yourself):

  1. What is your current position in the mind of your customer/audience?
  2. What do you want your positioning to be?
  3. Who (competition-wise) is in your league and what is their position? The idea is to have a unique position or a unique category were you can position yourself.
  4. What kind of positioning can you afford? Is this an internal initiative or do you hire an agency?
  5. Can your company stick it out? Can your company live up to this position?
  6. Does your company actually match the position that you are trying to attain?

Positioning and the 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing are two great books from Al Reis and Jack Trout.

My boy Aff sent this email

One of the best …fight scenes EVER is here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhXwPQU1iNo

The movie itself, Wheels On Meals, isn’t all that good, but I remember
this scene as being Jackie’s 2nd best, w/this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBi2udFHY-Q

being his best.

I’m going to reenact the 1st scene in a rap video…

Although Drunken Master is the better choreographed and here we see when break dancing really came from, the speed on Wheels on Meals is amazing.

Play close attention to the use of sound queues when a punch made contact or when a punch was blocked.

Nav4All is a free GPS navigation systems for your cell phone. Beyond a normal navigation system you can track and trace yourself and friends. Can get a little creepy knowing that people can access your location, but hey we’ve already been sold into that. Good luck staying off the grid.
