Grand Theft Childhood is a to be released book aimed at uncovering the truth and media hype concerning violent video games and kids.

In 2004, Drs. Lawrence Kutner and Cheryl K. Olson, co-founders and directors of the Harvard Medical School Center for Mental Health and Media, began a $1.5 million study funded by the U.S. Department of Justice on the effects of video games on young teenagers. In contrast to previous research, they studied real children and families in real situations

What they found surprised, encouraged, and sometimes disturbed them.

Check the Grand Theft Childhood Website their myths/facts page is quite an interesting teaser (and a very interesting page layout for designers to get some inspiration).

Nav4All is a free GPS navigation systems for your cell phone. Beyond a normal navigation system you can track and trace yourself and friends. Can get a little creepy knowing that people can access your location, but hey we’ve already been sold into that. Good luck staying off the grid.
