Mark Hyman in his book UltraMetabolism talks about the 7 myths that “many of us believe that confuse, confound, and thwart our efforts to loose weight”.

  1. Eat less + excercise more = weight loss
  2. All calories are created equal
  3. Eating fat makes you fat
  4. Eating low carb or no carb will make you thin
  5. Skipping meals helps you loose weight
  6. The French are thin because they drink wine and eat butter
  7. Government food policies and food industry regulations protect our health
